PRAYER TO HEAL MY WOUNDS Wound inflicted by rejection: Lies: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am unloved and unlovable. I renounce the lie that I am not wanted, not desired and not good enough.” Truth: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that by virtue of my Baptism I am a beloved son/daughter of the Father. I announce the truth that He loves me so much that He gave His life for me, and that there is no greater love possible (John 15). I announce the truth that the love of God has been poured out into my heart through the Holy Spirit. I announce the truth that I am loved and valued, wanted and desired, and that I am precious in the Father’s eyes.” Wound inflicted by abandonment: Lies: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am alone, and that no one understands me or cares for me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am unprotected, and that God has abandoned me.” Truth: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that Jesus himself promised me, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’ (Hebrews 13:5); ‘I will be with you always until the end of time’ (Matthew 28). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that I am connected, understood and cared for deeply, and I announce the truth in Holy Communion that I am united with Christ and the Communion of Saints. They are always with me, so I am never alone.” Wound inflicted by fear: Lies: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that if I trust I will be hurt, disappointed or die. In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce all fear, anxiety, mistrust, and distrust. In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am not safe and not protected.” Truth: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that God is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, and my protector (Psalms 23, 27, 91). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that God’s perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that I am safe and secure.” Wound inflicted by shame: Lies: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am bad, dirty, ugly, stupid, worthless, perverted . . .” Truth: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that Jesus died for my sins and that I am forgiven, washed, cleansed, justified, and accepted (1 Corinthians 6). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that Jesus did not come to condemn me, but to save me (John 3:17-21; Romans 8:1; John 8:10-11). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, I am forgiven and set free. In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that I am pure and worthy, not because of what I have done, but because of what Jesus has done for me.” Wound inflicted by powerlessness: Lies: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am powerless, weak, unable to change or not capable; that I am stuck, trapped and that I don’t know what to do.” Truth: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that Jesus promised that His grace is perfected in my weakness, so that when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:8-10). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth, that ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me’ (Philippians 4:13). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that, ‘where the Holy Spirit is, there is freedom’ (2 Corinthians 3:17), so I accept the truth that I am empowered by Christ and liberated by the Holy Spirit and I announce the truth that through my Confirmation, I am anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit, who lives and dwells in me.” Wound inflicted by hopelessness: Lies: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that nothing ever changes and I will never have what I want. In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that my life is meaningless and that I have nothing to live for. Truth: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that my hope is steadfast in Christ, and that He makes all things new (John 21:5). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that because my hope is in Christ, I will not be disappointed (Roman 5:5). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that, ‘I am being transformed from glory to glory into the image of Christ’ (2 Corinthians 3:18), and that God is at work in me, and what He begins, He will bring to completion (Philippians 1:6). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that I am filled with hope in the good things to come.” Confusion: Lies: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that everything is confusing, that I don’t understand anything and that it is up to me to figure things out on my own.” Truth: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that I have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) and that the Holy Spirit reveals to me whatever I need to know, when I need to know it (1 Corinthians 1:7). In the name of Jesus Christ, I announce the truth that the Lord gives wisdom and understanding to anyone who asks (James 1:5), that God has given His Church to lead me to all truth and that I have understanding and enlightenment from the Lord.”

ORACIÓN PARA SANAR LAS HERIDAS MÁS PROFUNDAS. La herida causada por el rechazo.- “En el nombre de Jesucristo, renuncio a la mentira de que no soy amado ni digno de ser amado. Renuncio a la mentira de que no soy querido, no deseado y no lo suficientemente bueno”. “En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad de que en virtud de mi Bautismo soy un hijo amado del Padre. Anuncio la verdad de que Él me ama tanto que dio su vida por mí, y que no hay mayor amor posible (Juan 15). Anuncio la verdad de que el amor de Dios ha sido derramado en mi corazón por medio del Espíritu Santo. Anuncio la verdad de que soy amado y valorado, querido y deseado, y que soy precioso a los ojos del Padre”. La herida causada por el abandono.- “En el nombre de Jesucristo, renuncio a la mentira de que estoy solo, y que nadie me entiende ni se preocupa por mí. En el nombre de Jesucristo, renuncio a la mentira de que estoy desprotegido y que Dios me ha abandonado”. En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad que el mismo Jesús me prometió: ‘Nunca te dejaré ni te desampararé’ (Hebreos 13:5); “Estaré con vosotros siempre hasta el fin de los tiempos” (Mateo 28). En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad de que estoy conectado, comprendido y cuidado profundamente, y anuncio la verdad en la Sagrada Comunión de que estoy unido con Cristo y la Comunión de los Santos. Siempre están conmigo, así que nunca estoy solo”. La herida causada por el miedo. “En el nombre de Jesucristo, renuncio a la mentira de que si confío seré herido, desilusionado o moriré. En el nombre de Jesucristo, renuncio a todo temor, ansiedad, desconfianza y desconfianza. En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad de que Jesús no vino a condenarme, sino a salvarme (Juan 3:17-21; Romanos 8:1; Juan 8:10-11). En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad de que en el Sacramento de la Reconciliación soy perdonado y liberado. En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad de que soy puro y digno, no por lo que he hecho, sino por lo que Jesús ha hecho por mí”. La herida causada por la debilidad.- “En el nombre de Jesucristo, renuncio a la mentira de que soy impotente, débil, incapaz de cambiar o incapaz; que estoy atascado, atrapado y que no sé qué hacer”. “En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad que Jesús prometió que Su gracia se perfecciona en mi debilidad, para que cuando sea débil, entonces sea fuerte. (2 Corintios 12:8-10). En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad, que “Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece” (Filipenses 4:13). En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad de que porque mi esperanza está en Cristo, no seré defraudado (Romanos 5:5). En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad de que 'soy transformado de gloria en gloria a la imagen de Cristo' (2 Corintios 3:18), y que Dios está obrando en mí, y lo que Él comienza, Él llevará a cabo (Filipenses 1:6). En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad de que estoy lleno de esperanza en los bienes venideros”. -La herida causada por la Confusión.- “En el nombre de Jesucristo, renuncio a la mentira de que todo es confuso, que no entiendo nada y que depende de mí resolver las cosas por mi cuenta”. “En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad de que tengo la mente de Cristo (1 Corintios 2:16) y que el Espíritu Santo me revela todo lo que necesito saber, cuando necesito saberlo (1 Corintios 1:7). En el nombre de Jesucristo, anuncio la verdad que el Señor da sabiduría y entendimiento a todo el que la pide (Santiago 1:5), que Dios ha dado su Iglesia para llevarme a toda la verdad y que tenga entendimiento e iluminación del Señor”.
